In the g37 it's actually quieter than the tanabe mufflers. I'm worried it would rasp like crazy though.

 

well the mufflers are different and basically this a straight pipe with an x pipe and mufflers lol

I think it'll be loud.
We just have to wait and see.

 

Check out the videos on the g37 it is not loud at all. Review say just a little more than stock. How I have no idea. Huge mufflers?

 

So i asked BB who has this exhaust and he said it's raspy, so i guess Umm I'm not getting this then...... tanabe with custom X is my only choice i guess?!

 

magnaflow is supposed to be releasing a new kit. I emailed them today.

FI would prolly build an aluminized exhaust if you asked nicely.

That place is a disaster, over priced, and over rated.

 

borla sounds pretty good. the g37 vids on youtube arent too loud, and the sedan exhaust has an extra resonator too. i've done many listen tests on youtube with different borla exhausts and i've found none to be much louder than stock, but of course im relying on video which is never good. i spoke to a rep from borla for almost an hour on the fone too, he said the sedan exhaust was built to be an exhaust for a sporty but classy car. so under WOT you'll hear it, but under normal driving its pretty mellow. he said they make each exhaust different according to the image of the car, which is why the g37 exhaust would be louder than our sedans. plus it yields the most gains...

 

I have no idea what I just did. I saw this exhaust and something inside me said just buy it...so I did! I was planning on getting the FI but I just said F! it. I'll post a vid when everything is said and done, prob gonna get some HFC as well or if anyone knows if the 350z test pipes will work on the G I can use my old ones?

Borla is nice, but it's like 1.6k for a set i can't afford that. everything went into getting the car hahaha.

 

I was at work yesterday and I was just shopping for coilovers but came acroos this instead, it looked nice and seemed original so I said wtf... I had a Injen true dual with test pipes on my Z and that was louder then my friends EVO(insane sound). I hope I like it!

 

I hope so too.. LOL .Louder than a EVO MMM LOUD you were, My EVO wasnt loud untill I boosted it. I was running a Tubular mani, Tanabe turbo back with a HFC at 24LBS man it was insane under boost.. LOL I miss it..

 

LOL, yeah I miss my Z as well. So I got an e-mail from Andy saying that the exhaust insn't ready from Invidia and I would have to wait another week. Also if I still wanted to go for it he would give me a discount(waiting for reply on final price). So I told him to count me in. I just hope there wont be any delays. Did anyone find out if the 350z test pipes will work?, I'm hoping for same engine same setup.
