for those with the technosquare reflash, from what i saw is that it raised your limiter to 8k.
any positives or negatives for those who did this so far??
any performance gains, i know its a different tune but as for the extra 500 rpms is that really helpfull?
any feedback from technosquare about the longevity of the the motor, will that affect anything also positive/negative?

id wait for Robby to drop in but considering he picked up 30whp edging him to 300whp and hefty change of torque STOCK id say the tune is worth it performance wise but not sure of the downsides of the added stress of teh higher limiter if pushed that hard, but i doubt any damage would occur as these engines are built for high-reving, as long as you dont 8k it every single minute

Well, whatever route I end up choosing, I know I'm not signing up for an 8K RPM range.
In DS mode, I think the car currently gets too high in RPMs stock... nevermind adding the additional 500 RPMs.
I know that's where the power is, but at what expense?

the expense is an extra domed hood and a pot hole as you send a piston towards heaven and earth, HA
i was in a mitsu eclipse when that happened, quite an experience, you hear big bang, and you see a new turbo bump in the hood that wasnt there before, and a trail of oil leading away from you in ur rear view.
its also when you realize your having a bad day..

..lol. but i dont think a dsm motor is anywhere close to compare to what nissan did with hr.

I think there is one, and Aeson your car only revs to 7500 rpm? Mine goes up to 7800.

Honestly, the only time the car see's that is when it's in DS mode and I'm flooring it. That doesn't happen too often.
In fact, the last time I did that was this morning...

i dont know too much about the ts reflash, but i had a reflash done to my previous car and it wacked out my rpms it not only raised the limiter but every shift was higher than it was supposed to be till the car started jerking when crossing into the 80 mph area.
