Had a look at my intake filters and it seems time for their replacement. Gave HKS and K&N a thought, but did not see a clear advantage to using either over stock and got a pair of OEMs from fleabay.

Not many manufacturers list any filters for the '07+ G35 or even the '08 350Z (WTF) but if you look up the '07 350Z then the options increase. Check this one by Amsoil...

Disclaimer: This is all based on my own research and the assumption that the '07 350z has the VQ35HR with the dual intake so please check for yourself before buying as I haven't tested this theory yet. And let us know if you do confirm the fit...
OK, I am pretty sure that I was wrong about this filter (Amsoil) working in the 07+ G35 sedan. The 07 350 was the transistion year from the DE to the HR so the old filter is what Amsoil makes. The new filter is not supported yet as far as I know. Looks like the HKS is the only "performance" panel filter available. Wix and Fram have "standard" filters available but even they are hard to find locally. Ended up ordering the HKS from Ebay.

That filter does NOT fit the 07+ G35. I ordered two and am in the process of returning them

Bump up.

I just bought the HKS drop in. Its around the same price as the k&n but oil free in a big plus IMO. The oil can stick to your sensors/throttle body and gunk it up as small dirt particles build on it.

This is what I got

Anyone else have the HKS filter on? How do you like em?

Il be the judge of that lol. It says on the Ebay add very clearly "03-07 INFINITI G35 3.5L V6 F/I - Coupe"

If it dosnt fit iIl return the bitch or ill make it fit.

Also I have a 2006 lol

EDIT: by the way i think the reason it didnt fit for him is he has the dual intake so that filter is probably made for the single intake version. lol fail for that guy.
