Umm, I doubt any workshop in Saudi Arabia will have anything at hand (they're literally $hite), the only thing they would have is high octane race fuel.

Yes Brian is an honest guy, I've spoken to him several times regarding my order. But as I said earlier if the gaskets were to be shipped alone they will defiantly get damaged again and who in their right mind would pay for international delivery half way across the world for gaskets?

Ohh just noticed you're in Qatar, I thought you were in the states, what exactly is the workshop gasket? I mean do you have a brand name or something? or do you mean you used the standard oem gasket?

lol I guess , I just wanted to make sure because I've never really felt gaskets before and they're very easily dented, and by the way the delivery dude brought it in I can see how it go damaged.

+1 for the gaskets looking like the were intalled already.. You can not use the stock gaskets the stockers are a donut gasket. Also let mw know how the car rides after the install. You are a auto right??

They are supposed to be soft and dent easily, that's so they will compress when you tighten the flanges down against them so they seal properly. There's nothing wrong with the gaskets you received, they will be fine.

Those gaskets have not been installed before, trust me... What you are seeing is there is a thin metal / foil frame, if you want to call it that, that the graphite material is layered on top of... that's the outline you are seeing through the graphite. I sell industrial valves & piping for a living and we use thse same types of gaskets for all of our high temp steam applications and all of the gaskets I use look like this or worse when I receive them. They are just very fragile, but as long at they are in one piece then you will be fine. If they were installed before the would look a lot worse than that...

Now, quit worrying about it and go get your new HFC's installed.

^ Looool, thanks for the clarification and reassurance, I'll be using them and "if" I get any problems then I'll just replace them no biggy.

That's funny we have similar tiles, the problem with mine is that these tiles are throughout the whole house and not only the Kitchen, the pics I took were actually in my bedroom but I guess we need tiles here to keep things cool in the hot weather.

Sounds good, Maz... definitely let us know how it goes!!! I'm loving my Berk's so far!

I know what you mean about the tile... I've got that stuff on my entire lower level, including the first floor bedroom. Thankfully, though, the upstairs, including the master bedroom, is carpeted... so, no waking up to a cold azz floor under my feet. LOL

oh geeze you guys, those look fine. my goodness. I've gotten some before that were bent nearly in half and they still seal perfectly. They have a flexible gooey material in them that when clamped, will compress and seal no problem. The thread hanging off looks like just a piece stuck on from the manufacturing process of cutting out the piece. I bet you could just yank it off and not think twice about it.
