Buy another car should you get a turbo charged engine!
High compression motors just requires less boost.

Not sure what you mean by sync turbo spools ... this appears to the a single turbo setup for the HR which would be a first. There are a lot of questions I would be asking them if I were gonna do this. The first being if they really boosted an HR motor because they only posted the power curves from a DE motor.

Relaibility really depends on how heavy the drivers right foot is. When not on boost (most of the time), the stress should be comparable to a N/A motor. Being a daily driver should be no problem on a properly configured F/I system.

I really like it. Especially the 400 tq, wow. But if the air intake for the turbo is way back there under the back of your car what about water getting sucked up?

Simple just dont drive in the rain

Since there are plenty of cars with this system I'm sure they have figured a way around it. Especially since it is tucked up underneath the car (even though I am no expert) I don't think the rain should be a problem as long as you're not submerging the unit in water.

I don't think it has been done on an HR yet. Here are a bunch of DE's though:

DIY.. rear mount seems pretty strait forward.

Pick a turbo, get the flange, and have a exhaust shop weld up a rear exhaust section.
Mount it and a waste gate flange before it. all the rest is just piping oil lines and a oil return pump.

Where is it mounted that rain should be a problem?

I am too very curious, but they'd have to really do something about the price, because GTM has a complete turnkey s/c kit, which would go much better with us auto trans guys, for $5800?
