Help! Which HFC should I get?

Hey ppl, I also wanna get a HFC soon and I know many of you have them, so just a few questions. First of all, I'm thinking of just getting a HFC now and maybe upgrading to a catback exhaust later, so I can install the HFC on stock exhaust setup right? Also, would you ppl agree that Infiniti makes an all-right exhaust stock, so just HFC would give me decent gains and good sound? Lastly, and most importantly, which HFC and why? I know Berk, FI, and Stillen make them so far. I'm looking for good, deep, quality sound and some gains (more emphasis on the sound). I want it to keep the sophisticated sound of the VQ and not sound like some cheap rice rocket. Any input is greatly appreciated, and I like details!

do you need resonated HFCs? I thought the only resonated pipes you need were Test pipes?

Wait ya, I thought an HFC was just an HFC, is there really resonated and non-resonated like there is for test pipes? And csquared, was the sound/gain just not enough with the HFC on the stock setup? And lastly, I was leaning toward FI cause they seem quality and I've nothing but positive comments, but yall are saying Berk, how come?

No. There's test pipes, then resonated test pipes and high flow cats.

My understanding from Tony at FI is that you don't gain much if any performance with an HFC and stock. You gain some with just the cat-back and you gain a more with both. He advised me against just adding the HFC and also against (for me personally) both the cat-back and HFC combined. You will likely gain some sound, but I cannot speak to that.

I went with the cat-back and the sound is pretty darn good with the same tone as stock. Not overly loud, but certainly loud enough. For me anyways.

Well after i got the HFC on my stock exhaust, I could feel gains just from my butt dyno, and also the exhaust was defiantly louder than stock, but it wasn't way louder, just a tiny little bit. My friends that are also in cars was like ehh yeah i can hear it, but it's not much.

I believe berk and FI use the same magnaflow core in the HFC, with berks you dont' need anti foulers but with FI you might.

My question is how much louder does it get adding an HFC to the cat-back?

I honestly feel that the FI cat-back is quite loud, definitely loud enough, but I would love the power boost from adding the HFC. If it was minimal I could handle it.

Tony didn't mention anything about needing foulers.
