My PowerPup just arrived, and is now installed

As others have said, the install is very easy; the version on the web did not let me advance the timing (they e-mailed me a new version), but I decided to just go ahead with their premium "tune" which installed fine.

Speed limiter is now changed; I have an AT Sport, and it showed the standard speed limiter at 133. Mine is now set for 70, so I don't accidentally go too fast...

Anyway, I can't say definitively that there's a difference, because the increase is in the noise; hard to feel minor increases without a dyno. But the G feels great, it's nice to have the ability to kill off the speed limiter and alter RPMs, even if you don't do it.

Ouch you set to max speed of 70!?! What if you need to pass someone on the highway? LOL Hope you are enjoying it. BTW did you increase your timing? Also try the highway, that's the easiest way to tell the performance increases.

Yes, because I wouldn't want to ever break the law In fact, if you think about it, anyone who has their speed limiter set above 70 is just being selfish. Hellooooo! We're heading towards an oil crisis??

so i curious to know if this will work on my 05 6mt sedan? all the posts are from people with 07+ so just curious to know. all i really care about is making sure my afr is correct so i dont hurt my motor running lean.

interesting stuff...im assuming this is for the REV-up motors 05+ right?
i checked the website, no 03-04 motors.

dang i was getting all excited.LOL

You might want to call their tech support. They may say otherwise (or have a different product).

I found a seller on ebay that has this listed for $370ish OBO. I offered him $340 and he took it. PM me for his details.

Yup. It was either $373 with next day air included or he offered me $340 with UPS ground.

I received mine and got the 1.2.2b update but still it is not recognized by my car. After calling tech support, they told me that for next week I will have my version of the software done.
These guys support their product very well.

I will be receiving my Bullydog today and Im just wondering what does advancing the timing exactly do? I'll be running CA 91 oct gas if it matters at all. Are there any ill effects from doing this?
