Why is nobody else concerned with the fact that they put in one whole day of r&d and bam, they have maps for our car.

I'm not sold.

you are correct. with the vdc on, car wouldnt go anywhere from a stop, just the slip light will go crazy.... it also reads diagnostic codes and clears them so i woulndt have one on anyways.

kinda sort of. they already R&D'd the map/tune/program (i still dont have a name for what this is, and im too lazy to look at their website) its just that my ecu code was something that they didnt have yet, so all they did is took their current versions and made it work with mine, there is only so many different HR maps out there. once again for the titan there are currently 52 different ecu's.

Thanks for the vid. 7500-7800 is normal with DS it shifts around 500 lower than limit. So before it was shifting around 7k rpm and was finish shifting just before would hit redline. Now since redline raised everything else with it. Even the next gear rpm too.

Cool.

You rock bro.
thankss

IDK guys im just providing my personal outcome. people had ?'s if it worked yess it does. you dont have to use the tune it also reads engine codes can take off speed limiter a lot of previous threads about how the AT's wanted to go past 130. wtih this you can all the above. just trying to help.

I was considering Osiris standard tuner but now having second thoughts since Power Pup is available now at almost half the price- reviews look pretty impressive thus far.

any word on the wide open throttle issue found in the Nissan trucks?

most reviews said that taking the WOT restriction off was the biggest single improvement.

FYI,
the WOT restriction was on the titans, it restricted WOT under 40 mph,

so basically when u stomped on it, it would only get you about 88% throttle until you pass 40 mph, then you would get 100%

I think we have that too, our butterfly valve don't open all the way or something.

that option is not available on the Gs, only for the trucks.

i do remember TS saying some thing about that on the DE mota, when the revs get close to red line, the butterfly would close a little to lessen power as redline was reached.

the trucks restriction is on the other end when starting off,

i also read that some people who had the 4runner had the WOT and the first few maps that came out did not remove this restriction. They called bullydog and requested a new map with the wot removed.

bullydog responded in a few weeks with a new map for that restriction.

so maybe suby should call and ask about it and see what they say.

theres a huge warning sign taped to the tunner when you open the box STOP do not bla bla, i guess that WOP option is something that is recommended to be used for short periods of time, they do not recommend that for daily use...only drag racing or short towing and then switching it back..aka use option at own risk.
but i havent noticed the option in there either.

I'm curious as to how they provide an increase in HP without actually altering timing, or do they actually alter timing but still allow the end user to make further adjustments?

No increase in timing= no additional HP.

My mod-friendly dealer offers a timing advance of 2 degrees.
I don't know enough about the benefits and potential problems yet, so I passed on the offer.

Suby mentioned this having the option to set this +/- 2 degrees.

On Maxima's, advancing the timing by 2 degrees netted a few hp and better throttle response - so long as you're on high octane gas. However, it was later argued that the ECU compensated for the advanced timing and dialed it back in. I didn't follow the topic long enough to see if that was verified.
