Haha I was just about to PM you to see where you were, haven't heard from you in a while.

You should get these and let us know how they are lol
But seriously, I'd guess the R2C intake is a better choice since the heat shield blocks off all sides of the intake plus it's a dry filter setup so no need to oil them.

I'm still liking the Injen long tubes.
Just waiting for the right moment... which will be when I have money.

oh those look good. I just can't seem to commit to anything though that doesn't have a dyno. Too many choices available and not enough empiric data!!! Thanks for posting this though. Looks hot.

Nice one by the way! but it seem too many of them came out now.We can't just try almost everything Ha Ha!! All of them mostly just for sound or not even 2-5hp gain unless CAI. Im with drop in K&N now.Too lazy to change anything.

Almost no gains but at least no apparent loss. Thanks for posting that dyno.

Keep in mind he didnt follow "proper" dyno'ing.

But yes, honestly, I wasnt dissapointed by the said gains.

No loss in HP. thats key. Everything else you can gain... is a plus.

Either way, the gains on intakes seem to be all over the map no matter what intake you get. But from a subjective "butt" seat dyno, the guys felt gains. The intakes responded well at the higher rpm ranges.

And at the end of the day, thats all that is important, true or not, small gains or no gains, if the owner is happy with the results, thats all that matters ;P hehe

( thats my sentiments about my exhaust ).

I have the Injen SRI, still contemplating on whether to just go ahead and install, or do a B/A dyno.

By the way, the SRI is almost like the R2C in that the shield covers 3 sides, the top opening has rubber inserts that "seals" it off with the help of the hood when closed. By the way, it uses a dry-type Amsoil filter.
