Avg for a manual is 15%, while an AT is 20%. Give or take a couple %

I've got my dynolicious set at 18% drivetrain loss and weight at 3699lbs. Seems to be close enough to giving accurate figures. BTW don't forget to calibrate your phone before hand.

If you enter 0 for the drivetrain loss you get the WHP instead. I have my weight at around 3790? I figured rims plus tires and me (172) in the car would weigh around that

Umm are you sure about that? I don't understand how 0 for drivetrain loss will give you WHP? because wouldn't you be taking out the loss in power from the drivetrain? Wouldn't setting the figure at 0 give you Crank HP? and not WHP? because currently I'm getting around 250hp with 18% drivetrain loss. If I set it to 0 wouldn't I get more HP? or less? Taking out the 18% loss it'll equate to around 205whp?

Yeah, underneath where you have the option to enter drivetrain loss % it reads, " Enter estimated drivetrain loss for use in horsepower calculations. Typical values are 15-25. Enter 0 to report wheel hp."

That doesn't make sense though as whp should incorporate drive train loss.

Yes that's what I thought. But to think about i logically I think the program actually measures WHP because it is done via GPS and not through reading the actual engine output, so without the drivetrain loss it'll give you a lower HP figure (or WHP) whereas when you incorporate the 18% drivetrain loss it'll calculate it to what crank or engine output is "without" the 18% loss (considering the % loss is accurate). I guess if you put 20% loss them it'll give you an even greater engine output figure.

Is it clearer or did I confuse you some more?
