Damn your fast, did you get back to the U.S?
Btw, if your going for resonated test pipes, don't you think that you'll lose some back pressure and some Tq. ? I think our VQ35 needs some back pressure since it got waay much more Tq. than the VQ37, that's my POV, so that's why i'm getting HFC, what would you say?

BTW, if I install some HFC (Berks or FI), will it decrease my torque? Or it's gonna happen only with test pipes?

It's actually the complete opposite. This car really needs to loosen up. When i get less back pressure, i noticed huge differences. Like when i put the resonators on the exhaust, i felt i lost some power. Plus, these are GTM test pipes. You cant get any better than this.
I found out that test pipes are one of the best mods for the HR. It will increase my torque and low end. This should be my last bolt on so i can go for a retune unless something else comes out.

HFC restrict just as much as stock cats. This exhaust has enough back pressure to support test pipes.

Nooo don't say things like that Robby, you make me feel bad for getting the resonated pipes lol.

Actually, since coming back from vacation and having the HFCs on for a few weeks I've noticed the sound has gotten slightly louder since I last install the new X and Y pipe. It sounds awesome now, especially at low cruising speeds.

When I first installed the new pipes I missed the loud drone noise a bit lol, but now it sounds sweet, just right. Everything seems to have settled in nicely.

I'd like to see how your test pipes get on because if they're any good I might go for them in the future lol, I hope I can keep my eyes off them. Please post pics Robby once you get them.

And G35DUDE!!!!!!!!!!1 Where's your god damn pic in the GCC social group? lol my car is still the only one up there, c'mon dude at least post one pic up

Quick question for you guys with the exhaust: Do you think the oem tips could fit on the outlet of the Invidia cans (or is the OD of the Invidia exhaust pipe too large to fit the oem tip over)?

Just wondering....

Ya mine got louder as well after i started driving more. The resonators broke in nicely.
I'll post up pictures probably on monday. My team member is going to GTM friday, so he's going to pick it up for me. I'll probably pick them up monday.

i think the outlet is way too thick for the stock tips. I doubt it would fit.

Hey Robby, about those HFC and Resonated test pipes, a friend of mine got Corvette C6 with breathing mods + cam and heads which put on the dyno 523rwhp and 487tq, he got LG headers (which comes with HFC and race pipes and you can swap between them) so he decided to remove the HFC and put the race pipes, on the same dyno the car put 530rwhp and 457tq, he gained HP but lost 30tq, after that he put back the HFC and put the same old numbers, now he's sticking with the HFC until he put S/C on his car and then he'll remove them, maybe you want to check before putting anything since the car is N/A, but as for me i'd like to have HFC.

^ Corvette? You're comparing apples and oranges man. Do some research on the VQ's and the way they respond to RTP's. they definitely don't lose power anywhere on an NA car.

Well, that was my question a few posts above. I beleive, if you decrease "back pressure" to the engine, you will lose torque, am I right?
