I'm just waiting for some spray to arrive so I can do the heat wrap on the exhaust before it goes onto the car, hopefully i'll see a good drop in heat coming from the bottom of the car.

Man I'm so annoyed, I'm now waiting on the Thermo-wrap spray and the metal clips to hold the wrap together, they don't sell $hit here I have to order everything from abroad

 

You are complicating everything, it's too easy, no need for spray, just do as i told you, and the clamps are easy to get anyways and believe me they are better than metal straps, those metal straps are just for show, you can't tight them as you would tight a clamp.

 

Humm, I would think I would need the spray because it helps close of and seal all the pores on the wrap, otherwise it'll soak up all the sewage water we have overflowing around here. It also helps cure the wrap so it acts as a better barrier. As for the clamps, I don't want to use those huge metal clamps on the exhaust, it'll probably be hitting and rubbing against every part it comes in contact with, and there's nothing worse than a squeaky and noisy exhaust. I need to do it right as I don't have the time or facility to take out the exhaust once it's installed.

 

i have the solution to this problem. Want to guess what it is?

BTW wouldn't the thermal wrap cause the exhaust to run hotter since it seals the heat in?

LOL you guys, I'm a bit of a perfectionist (well now a days I have been) and since some members on here recommended the heat wrap I got my head hooked around it, now I won't be happy until it's done before the install , patience my fellow buddies...patience

Oh and I mainly got the heat wrap to reduce exhaust temps when stepping in and out of the car, if it reduces rasp then that's an added bonus

To be honest all i need to know that how would the Invidia sound with HFC, i hope you upload some video clips at youtube and post a link, but make sure you upload the video after the breakdown period so we can hear how would it really sound, my exhaust sound changed slowly over time, not it feels like stock.
