Thanks dude, yeah TBH I think it would have been better just selling them locally, anyway I'm trying to deal with the problem and hopefully I'll get an answer by today, I'll update you guys soon.

 

lol trust me I'm very close to doing that. Chris got back to me yesterday saying that it should have arrived yesterday morning, so I double checked like an hour ago and it hasn't arrived and is still booked on a flight to Texas. When I spoke to DB yesterday they're telling me it's still in Philadelphia. I've contacted Chris with both print outs I have confirming that it's still in the states. I've told him to try and get it resolved today or just refund me the money back. I can't do anything else.

 

WOW! WTF is going on with this package.

Yeah tell me about it, what scares me is that by the time it arrives to me it might be damaged or something, which is why I'm thinking of trying to get a refund. I'll see what Chris says tonight.

Well I got a slight update last night. Supposedly the person responsible for making sure the package was booked on a flight over to SA went on sick leave and never informed anyone that the package needed looking after. It's actually still in PA and was supposedly never booked for TX. So hopefully later on today it should be on a flight to SA.

I've left most conversation with DB down to Chris as he was the one who choose to use them as a shipping company, so he has been pretty good with his replies back to me, and hopefully it'll arrive sometime soon. The only downside is that I'm going back to the UK on Sunday for 10 days so I won't be around when it arrives, but I've got someone to keep an eye out for it to make sure it's cleared from customs and sent to my address. I hope it's still all in one piece by the time it arrives.

Yup I hope so too, I just won't believe anything anymore until I've actually got the package in my hand and opened it up and made sure that all the parts are there and that they're for a sedan and not a coupe lol

But I'm feeling a bit better because my new place is nearly ready (should hopefully move in on Friday) and I'm going back to London for 10 days which is always fun . I've got my 2002 Audi S3 sitting there and hasn't bee driven for like 6 months (I miss the turbo spool and madness it has), oh also I upgraded the Haldex the last time and never really had time to play with it, and I've ordered a short shifter which should be fun. I just hope it rains a lot so I can have fun with the Quattro drifts

Aug 2nd and still no news, Chris is telling me he'll let me know once it arrives in Jeddah. I'm travelling today and I'm also pretty sick so I'll see one I arrive in London if there are any updates
