so i went to day 2 a garage to get information abt modding my G told him if he can tune or reflash my ecu...he said that he cant or he dont know but he said to me to get spacer and if im getting a intake i should get the chip to tune it he said that the chip comes along with the intake even with a exhaust im new to this thing (modding) so is he right that there is a chip and does it comes with the intake/exhaust or i should buy it? if so where can i find it??

 

You need to find a new "garage"

 

For chips, I prefer Doritos.

But I'd be curious to see what they recommend for you cxar since there are none for the V36.

They're the best, try giving them a call, they should help you a lot, but do it after getting intake or exhaust.

 

You guys are harsh! Euro tuners often use "CHIP" as a means of reflashing the ECU... I like what he said... Yes, tune makes optimal condition after getting intake and exhaust installed... Take a look at a few dynos posted here. Some showed good gains but I doubt that it would be permanent... Adaptive feature in ECU such as knock threash hold and timing will throw off the value which can actually degrade the performance over the time... Hence, the garage you went to had better idea and understanding than majority here who often perfers the "DORITOS".....

For you guys in the GCC countries and looking for a Reflash, or a custom tune by Uprev Osiris.
