How are these Dyno numbers?

Don't these numbers look low or is it just me? Before the tune I got 245rwhp.

Dyno numbers are relative.... I don't know that you can make the assumption that they are low unless you have something from the same dyno to compare to. My 09 G37 (6MT) made about the same on a Mustang dyno.... 262HP/227TQ (stock with a Cobb AccessPort).

I read in another thread, someone said, "those numbers are low... you need a different dyno" (paraphrasing, but...). A dyno is a tool to measure performance, and there are way too many variables from dyno to dyno to say that one is low or high. Even when comparing runs on the same type of dyno. Just make sure you use the same dyno to measure and tune you car, and you will be ok. You gained 8HP and 5TQ with a tune, that is pretty normal. I gained about 6HP/6TQ with a tune on my bone stock 09.

hmmm, i'm not sure, 255rwhp seems low i think, i got 243rwhp on Dyno Dynamics without HFC and tune, i guess you should have more hp, but i'm using 95 octane fuel.

https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-eng...g35-sedan.html

G35Robby got the highest numbers i've seen with intake/exhaust and TS custom tune, maybe there is something not right with your car, try another dyno run after few weeks after the reflash.

If I remember correctly, Robby's dyno was not a Mustang. The Mustang dyno delivers lower numbers and there are threads here explaining why that is... Like in Dude's link above!

A Mustang dyno will read a lot lower than a Dynojet.

The numbers seem a tad low, but close to what I would expect. My 09 with an AccessPort tune made 262HP/227TQ. His 07 made 254/213 with Stillen exhaust, G3 intake, Berk HFC's, and Orisis tune. That seems about right. Bone stock, he should be about 30 HP less, so his mods have added around 20 HP, which seems about right. I wouldn't worry about it, but if you want to feel better, go dyno your car on a Dynojet (they read the highest).

The latest edition of Modified mag. has a great article on the differences in different types of dynos. I would recommend it if you want to compare dynos. The info. in the above link is good too....

You know ever since I put the Berk HFC's on there has been hesitation at around 3k and the guy over at Uprev told me after the reflash it would take care of that, and it did but not entirely, and it is still even there after the tune. Do you think it wise to take them off and if so am I going to loose that much power without them?

What seems low to me is the fact that you only gained 8 WHP with the osirius tune. I would have expected a gain of 12-15 WHP.

Thanks for clarifying that, now I feel better about the Osiris. Was the software loaded onto a personal laptop or the shops computer? I really want to know more about the functionality of the program.

Was the AFR measured after CAT? Do you have a "TIMING" graph? Mustang dyno tends to read a lower so do not worry...

Damn dude, your numbers are probably low because your on a mustang dyno.

As for Dyno Dynamics, they can be tweaked to rate higher than a Dyno Jet. I got over 320 on a tweaked Dyno Dynamics.

Dyno Jet cannot be tweaked, the rate the way they came out of the dealer.
Different Brands on Dyno Jets will rate differently.

All Dyno Dynamics can be tweaked. Thats why its very hard to trust a Dyno Dynamics.

A mustang dyno is just a heart breaker. Unless you think you have a 1000HP, dont go on that dyno lol
But your numbers look fine for a mustang dyno.
