Thanks everyone for your inputs and opinions....I think im gonna go with the Invidia setup!!! I just got off the phone with Lou from Amplified Motorsport and he is giving me a really good deal that I just can't pass up. I guess I'll be the first in San Diego with this exhaust, so if any of you are from SD feel free to PM me so you can have an idea of how this exhaust sounds in person. Can't wait till friday, going up to LA to get my exhaust put on!!!
Plus it's a much better built exhaust than the Stillen.
Good choice on the Invidia ofna, congrats.
actually no i did not know its $300 cheaper..i checked their mfg website and stillen is cheaper by $250 from what I see.
who sells it that cheap?
also could you elaborate on the better built?
I'm just curious

Stillen now has their catback listed for $1060 so it isn't a $300 difference anymore. Sorry about that, just that last I checked, the Stillen was going for close to $1200. The Invidia is still cheaper though. lol

The Stillen has had reports of yellowing over time, the materials they use are no the best you'd find. The welds are decent at most and worst part about it is the fact that Stillen chose to use a Y-pipe just like OEM, which restricts the exhaust.
The Invidia is built from much higher quality materials, the welds look top notch, and it uses an X-pipe to allow for better flow.
Amplified has it listed on their site for $935 but if you call Lou you'll get an even better price. http://www.amplifiedmotorsport.com/i...d=2&subcatid=5

One of the members (G35s-Dude) wrapped his Invidia with heat wrap and he says there's zero rasp. Maybe you could try that out?
I personally like the Greddy Spectrum Elite better than the Invidia in terms of both looks and sounds. But if you're looking into some nice custom cat-back, FI w/ HFC/TP would be an awesome choice.
I have mentioned a thousand times (a little exaggerated, ahem) on many other threads, but you need to understand that the exhaust tones will change over time. This is because you are breaking-in the exhaust and so the tone will become a bit louder and deeper in time. The rasp you MIGHT hear on the Invidia would fade away after a period of time. This "TIME" is also determine by how hard you break-in the exhaust.
I got it with round mufflers and different style tips.
The round mufflers make the exhaust louder and gives it a deeper yet exotic tone.
The tips were just a matter of personal preference. I really don't like the regular tips the FI catback comes with.
Plus with the setup I have, the exhaust is even lighter than the regular FI.
