What exhaust do you guys recommended?

So i've had my car for almost 2 years now, and I finally decided that it is time to buy an exhaust. It would help if you guys can give me some inputs and opinions on the Stillen, Invidia, FI, and Greddy exhaust so I can go purchase it this weekend. Its kinda hard for me to decided living in San Diego I've never came across anyone with any of these exhaust so hearing it in person is out of the question.

If you're planning on doing something custom with your exhaust, go for FI.
If you just want to buy an exhaust off the shelf and install it, then go for Invidia.

The reason I say this is because the Invidia sounds better than the regular FI, and it's probably lighter too. Plus the lower price tag is another bonus.

If you're looking for a particular look or sound that none of these exhausts provide, then you can contact Tony@FI and have a custom setup built, which will probably be better quality and lighter than their regular setup. (as G35s-Dude saw after we argued for 2 days and I finally sent him the pics of my setup... should've sent you the pics sooner. lol)

Oh and you live in SD man, I'm sure there are enough people around you with different exhaust setups.
So try and find some people and hear them in person so you can make a proper decision.

SD all the way
I am exactly in the same boat as you ofna.
I am leaning towards stillen tho...I can live with the drone that people are saying.
Invidia titanium tips are not my style..thats the reason for me.
Still would like to hear both setups.

I'm still not a fan of that Invidia sound.

I love the FI exhaust on my car and if I had to do it again today, I'd go with the very same system.

Well I got the Stillen exhaust install last weekend and this thing is loud, I'm not used to it yet, but here is a clip that I found on youtube of how it sounds:

The Stillen Exhaust doesn't sound bad, but it's about twice as loud as the OEM one i'm not sure if that bugs you or not.

Give Tony a call at Fast intentions. tell him what you are looking for and he can build you a custom exhaust to your liking.

+1 I'd go for FI again too.

But the price on the Invidia is a steal and it doesn't sound too bad. (for someone looking for a deal that is)
