^ Maybe you should just go ahead and get Bat's hypertech. He's selling for a good price now. I think I'm going custom tune route, or perhaps just no tune at all.

Has anyone done before/after runs at the track with this?
I've seen reviews saying people notice a difference right away, people say the same thing with a grounding kit through. Looking at some of the posts here it would seem like a simple ecu reset would provide the same immediate difference for some people. Some even installed it and didn't "Open it up" right away, even took time to post here about it before they went WOT. Their ecu would probably have adapted to them driving like a grandma, hence the immediate gains felt by doing anything that resets the ecu.

^ ya thats why we were waiting for the hypertech guy to come back and respond to our questions with some R&D backing his statements about WOT restrictions, hp gains etc, but look like he bailed on us.

Can't really compare a chip in turbo'd car vs an NA car, a crap chip by a no name brand can squeeze a ton of hp out of a turbo'd car easy.

How could you say a crap chip?? They have to do RD or the fuel leans out an BOOM. If you dont like them thats your thing but they have made power on a lot of cars.

^ Thats true but i think what steve was trying to say was that it is MUCH easier to gain loads of power by even moderately tuning a turbo car than a NA car which is very true.

I wasn't calling hypertech a crap chip, simply stating the fact that pretty much anyone can squeeze a decent amount of hp out of a turbo'd car. It takes much more skill as a tuner to get gains from an NA car.

Ok over all impression. 1st is insane, and second gear you have to fight the wheel a bit to keep it strait.. Plus I'm seeing 20 PSI all the way to 6200k or so. I made some runs yesterday and got caught looking at the boost instead of the RPMS and was over 6k before I shifted. Car pulls CRAZY hard reminds me ove my 11 sec EVO.. Not saying its that fast but pulls very hard..

OK getting the the A/F readings. I did some pulls a watch the A/F's- The all where right around 10.8-10.5 which I think is perfect. The Stock A/F was at 11.3.

Mods are Just Cobb SRI and Turbo XS catless DP. I'mstill trying to line dyno time. may not be till the 30th, Next day I'm off work.

I also do know it's easier to make HP on a turbo car but still have to do your HW so you dont blow it up..
