GTM Reflash?

Hey guys was reading on here some where that they were offer a reflash for out cars. Just wondering if anyone has had the flash done yet.. My car is running lean( I think, HFC's, yea shame on me) An I have R2C intakes coming this week. So I will probally need a flash for the car to run right.. The flash can be customed to your mods also, which is a NICE thing.. Anyone have info?

I dont have much info but i'm really considering using the GTM Reflash option. They use the Osiris tuner program I believe. The good thing is, you don't have to take off the ECU or physically take your car anywhere.

I have the GTM tune done. Sam uses a standard Osiris tune and then customizes it. Although I believe that he needs your car in order to do a proper tune, as it took him about 4 hours with my car on the dyno to do my tune.

How much WHP did u get from the Orsis and the guy's at GTM? I got 280WHP with my custom Map Dyno tune with my Cobb AP.

I think you can also do it another way where you hook up the tuner, download the info from the ECU, send it to GTM where they tweak the maps, send it back, then you upload it back into the ECU. They would remap it according to your mods list.

RWHP depends so much on the type of dyno, weather conditions, and even the actual dyno you are using, so I will quote gains rather than total number. I gained 18 RWHP (Peak) from the tune, and I believe that in the mid range I gained almost 25 RWHP at one point.

Incidentally, I was just under 290 RWHP after the tuneon GTM's DynoJet.

This is the way it was done orignally, but Sam had me come back in and do the final tuning on the dyno, which basically doubled my HP gain.

From: Waltham Ma,
HMM this is a definit option for me as my Intakes are coming today, I talked to a local tuner who wants to start tuning the VQ line. I'm in the works on working out a deal with him on using the Osiris tuner program. My be really really cheap for me as I would be the first and the place is local to me.. If we do it I will have a full right up on here so guys in my area have a tuner option. The dyno they have is DynoJet Model 224x.

^ Very cool. Let us know what transpires.

I actually had similar offers from a couple of other Osiris tuners out here. They were offering me the tune for $300 - $400 to be the first HR tune, which meant I would have only been paying for the Osiris program license, then they were going to do the custom tune for me for free, but neither of them could get a program that worked with my ECU number. Sam at GTM actual had to write a custom program to get the Osiris to work with my ECU number, do I was glad I went to him.

I imagine it should be in the same price range, assuming he is only going to charge you for the Osiris software license, and not the actual tune. Either way, you or the tuner will have to purchase the software license from Osiris for your ECU, so it probably won't be any cheaper than $300 or $350. The nice thing about that is the next time you go for a tune on your car, you'll only need to pay for the dyno time, plus any tuning charge your tuner charges... you won't have to pay for another Osiris software license from UpRev.

Wish I lived in Boston, so I could attend your dyno meet.

Yea $330-350 would be perfect. An if we get more than 10 cars it's cheaper than that. Yea I hope this goes I'm dying for the UPREV tune. Hey I see you have Berk HFC's, Did you have to use non foulers at all.. My car is acting funny with them..

No anti-foulers needed with the Berks, they come with them preinstalled, so no CEL's with the Berks!!
