Takeda Intake...

Look what UPS brought me today...

I'm planning on putting this on this weekend since it's pretty cold here and doing it after work its just even colder.

I'm stoked about it and will post picks once installed.

Later,
Matt

The most interesting part here, if it will fit 100%....I've heard that Taked still haven't fixed the fitment. I'm talking about the rubber tubes fitment.

Damn, I was hoping they fixed that, can anyone remember what size hose is needed? If I can remember it was 5/8"? I know this stuff isn't expensive so I'd rather have there just encase I need it once I get into the install.

Also I can say that they didn't fix the logo issue. Mine two intakes had both logos peeling off right out of the box. It appears that they only attached it with double sided tape, so I plan on just removing it anyway with some Goo-B-Gone or something...

This is the reason why i went with Fujita intake instead of Takeda due to the fitment issue. I was told to wait 3 to 4 weeks for Takeda to make the adjustment. But you just never know. I believe you will need a 1 foot of rubber hose, or so i was told. My Fujita should be here today and will have it install later this week

Yeah, I was between the two, I just wasn't happy with the oil filter, I like the dry filters.

I also ordered my buddy a Fujita intake for his IS350 and that's suppose to be here today as well.

Between the two, Takeda would be a better choice with its semi heat shield and dry filters. Update with pics once installed.

Just go to pep boys with the provided tube from Takeda and match that size with flexible tubing. 1 Foot would be more than enough. Once I did that, my install was a breeze Good luck.

I wonder do you have to reset ecu once installed? if so can i just unplug battery? or do i have to do the steps of pressing and releasing the gas pedal?

I actually ordered the Fujita. Didn't want to have to deal with the tubes but from what i'm hearing it's easy...but i just didn't want to deal with it.
