need help choosing intake systems 2008 g35 sedan (306hp)

So i'm looking to upgrade my 2008 g35 sedan (306hp engine) a little bit by upgrading my intake system.

My 3 options right now are..

1. Stillen gen 3 ultra long tube cai
2. Stillen gen 2 long tube dual intake
3. Fujita short ram intake

i dont have any other modifications to my vehicle, from what i hear, the stillen gen 3 might produce too much air intake for my stock exhaust to handle? Not sure if this is just a bad source i read from or if this is true, if anyone can help me choose, i'd really appreciate it.

I used to drive a bmw e46, so this is my first infiniti forum i'm joining..i feel like a traitor..(but i love my g35 much more than my e46 domo)

the Stillen G3 CAI can make the car run lean if you run a cat back and/or HFC/test pipes. I don't think it would affect your AFR much if you install it by itself. Even then, you should tune the car to make the most out of the intake gains anyway.
Personally I'd get an Injen CAI if you want a great sound and a good AFR without caring much about power gains. If you want THE most gains then the Stillen CAI has proven to slightly give more gains (hence the leaner AFR compared to all other intakes)

injen cai intake vs. stillen gen 2 cai

so, i won't face any problems with the injen intake as i might with the stillen generation 3?

where does the stillen gen. 2 stand compared to the injen cai and stillen gen 3?

If you are going to even consider the Stillen Gen 2 or Fujita, I'd give a good look at the R2C or Injen SRI.
Personally, I'd also avoid oil based filters. There are much better options available to you. Don't look at sound and gains alone. Remember that these things need to function properly and provide protection as well.

Stillen G2 makes good noise and easier to install and clean but that's about it. It doesn't add much power and that's assuming it doesn't rob you of any.

The only intakes that are proven to provide any power gains are CAI's. so far there are only 2 CAI's out there, and thats the Injen and Stillen G3. The Stillen will provide more air flow over Injen (which is why it might cause a lean AFR) but the Injen is designed to NOT cause a lean AFR when used alone (no other exhaust/intake mods).

I have a K&N typhoon intake and it sounds great. No noticeable hp gains though but it sure does look good.

Every one has their favorites, like said before the gains will be minimal and all will be around the same EXCEPT fujita which has been 3rd party dynod multiple times to lose HP due to no heat shields.

If you wanna go the Short ram intake route, i would go with R2C hands down as per all my research i did when i was looking for an intake, as the performance gains are about the same it provides excellent heat shields, filter elements, sound and looks. but of course that is just my opinion.

lol I just replaced my oem panel filters with some K&N ones, I'm not a big fan of CAI even thought I've used them in the past, I feel the weather here is always too hot to get any real benefits.

and I'd agree with LightsOut, if you want to gain any sort of HP I'd suggest exhaust and HFCs then a tune. You should see reliable gains, maybe not much but still should be better than stock

would injen or stillen gen 3 be a bad idea if you live in an area where it tends to rain quite a bit? like vancouver bc....
