I am looking to purchase an Invidia catback for my 08 G35Xs and know the Invidia Y-pipe will not fit on an X but was thinking on using the rest of the x pipe and resonators. Does any one know if the stock Y-pipe will mate correctly to the Invidia Q300 x pipe exhaust? Are the tube diameters the same on stock and Invidia?

 

It won't fit. The Invidia X-pipe has two inlets and two outlets.
The stock Y-pipe has two inlets and one big outlet.

Plus, the stock piping is flanged differently than the invidia pipe.

Yeah got that.. Just did not know if the stock Y pipe had dual outlets. It has been tooo cold to crawl under the car and look... Think I am going to purchase either the FI or the Tanabe Medallion.

 

I should be getting my FI installed by Friday. Bought it used And only driven on for 1500 miles for $900.
