^ Thats great, most ppl would develop a bias about the product the purchase and let that affect their review on whether the product actually delivered on its claims or not.

So you only pleased with a removed speed limiter?

Hypertech did a dyno on exact model and years as mine. They got a +7hp on top end.
Yes, I removed the top speed limiter and the open throttle restriction. But somebody mentioned that my model and year (dual air / throttle intakes) did not have the 0-60 restrictions.

Thanks for posting your experience. I have been considering the Hypertech from when I first heard about it. I know that Bat dyno'd the car but unfortunately, his tuner wasn't able to print out his dyno chart, so I was waiting for more user reviews.

My main reason for wanting to get this product was for the "throttle restriction" removal. I was hoping that removing the throttle restriction would increase the experience of the car accelerating off the line. I guess your saying that the acceleration is a "smoother" ride. This was not what I was going for. Maybe I'll have to go through custom tune route.

Thanks man, appreciate your write up. Keep us updated if anything new.

I have not confirmed this but someone stated that the 07+ (dual intakes) are not restricted. So I do not even know if by programing it without the throttle restriction effected anything at all. The biggest thing it did was remove the abrupt throttle response. Its makes the car a little more drivable in town.
Still to early to tell the outcome. Will be hitting the hwy starting tomorrow and will have a better feel for it.

Well at this point remove everything you think you know about the car having the restriction or not (as no one knows for sure at this point) and just drive it a little hard off the line and see if you feel the difference and that would be a better way to tell if this tuner actually removes any restriction if there is any.

The tires spun a lot more after the install from take off. I got it on the hwy this morning and will be back on it through out the day. Will report my findings.
I can tell that the abrupt sensitive throttle is gone and much more manageable now. Not sure if I like that or not lol

^ thats a good little review and after your elongated drive today you should be able to post a complete review. Besides if you dont like the "manageable" throttle you can always go back to stock unlike all the folks who got the tsb update from the dealers.

He has an 08', so his throttle should have already had the updated power curve when he purchased it no? Anyways, I like my throttle as touchy as all get out.

You know with having the touchy abrupt throttle, it makes you THINK you have more power because of the "punch" in throttle response you get. Now that its "smooth", it feels I do not have as big as a punch in the low end. But my guess is that a "smooth" increase in the power curve is faster then an abrupt one, right?
On the hwy, anything at 5k rpms and above, you can feel a stronger pull. It really kicks in at around 5200k rpms. Below 5k, can not feel a difference. But then again, I was able to spin my tires more easily from a stand still so with that hummmm... it would suggest a little more power.

What is your opinion on what is faster, an abrupt throttle of power or a smooth throttle of power. A continues smooth power band would seem better????

Yes, it's better with a smooth power band to control the car, but I miss the touchy throttle every day (i've done sensitivity tsb)!!!

p.s. car is not faster or slower with a different throttle sensitivity, it just controls another way.
