Interesting article urging against flushing your transmission fluid

I was recommended a transmission fluid flush today by Infiniti at 37k miles.

What do you guys make of this article:

The machine Infiniti Uses is different, they hook up to your return line and plug to the fill and just swap out the fluid using the cars tranny pump.

You think this is something I should do now? Or can I wait until 60k miles?

Drain and refill with Synthetic AMSOIL around 35k, tranny is much smoother. Flush maybe over kill at your mileage.

^ since you have the MT i have heard that any other mt fluid other than the nissan one causes grinding and synchro noise on the MTs.

Is this the case with the Amsoil you have? If not which syn amsoil did you get (i.e. what weight does our car use)?

I'm a HUGE Amsoil fan
But I tried Amsoil & found it more notchy than the OE fluid.

does anybody know how much Infiniti charges on average for a tranny flush? I'm trying to decide if i should take it to the stealership or one of the reputable shops here in SoCal. i called a shop a few days ago to ask about a flush and they said they only do drain/refill?

I think it's $229.

So you guys are saying at my mileage it's overkill even though in the service schedule it recommends it at 30k?

This would be great news cuz I'd rather not spend the money now...and I don't expect to put much mileage on the car yearly so maybe I will sell it before I have to do that.

Is 60k a good mileage to do it at? Thanks!
