Man! I'm contiplating very hard doing excatly what you did---Sell the 2nd and get the 3rd. I know they're reviews, sound clips etc. If you could after the install and you get to driving it for a bit ( cause I know you will) let me know your thoughts on install, and sound. 8)

I thought stillen had a trade-up program for the gen2 to Gen3? Aren't the proximal tubes the same? I would call to find out.

finally, finally got it installed, i love it but i hear a rattling when im rolling, i think i have found where its coming from, did anyone else have this issue? the install guide says if the cut out isnt big enough... i cut mine HUGE, the drivers side tube touches the metal in the engine bay. tried to fit it right but cant get it to move much...

I installed mine 2 weeks back,

I had noises when the car was rolling out of the driver way as well.

I took one look at the filters and fixed it once and for all. It's pretty logical really, or at least mine were.

Look at where the intake pipes cross through the hole openings you made, I just stick a foam tape around the whole circumference and now I have zero noise. Try it out, if it still makes a noise then it could be leaning against another engine part just take a look and see where it seems to be touching.

I love mine now, they're awesome.

Oh and BTW I did't cut my holes tooo big as the instructions suggested, I cut just enough to leave a small gap around the pipe but it was leaning against some areas. Hope this helps
