Simple Question In Regards to ECU Reflash

Lets say I send in my ECU to technosquare to get it reflashed, and then one day my battery dies. Would my technosquare information still be in the ECU or would everything be completely gone? Did a search on this and heard from people here and there, but I want an 100% answer.

Meaning, if I got the technosquare reflash, and then my battery dies, would I have to send in my ECU back to them and reflash it again? Or would the information still be there and I wouldnt have to send it in.

And no, this isn't the whole "soft reset" with stomping on the gas pedal etc.

A dead battery won't necessitate a reflash, it's stored in the eprom or whatever computer jargon calls it.

No different if you remove your battery from your phone or computer. Its in there unless its deleted / wiped out. Loss of power will not do either.

It won't be erased anymore than what happens when your battery dies normally.

I would need an aftermarket ECU correct? Or what you guys are speaking about works on the stock ECU?

The reflash will simply reprogram the software on the stock ECU. Nothing in the hardware is altered, removed or added.
