Black plastic cover under engine

I just traded my 04 G35 in on a 07 G35. The front of the black plastic cover underneath the engine is hanging down in the front. It appears that 4 screws are missing. Does anyone have a part number for those screws? I was going to have my wife go by the dealership and pick them up, but she will not know how to explain what the screws are for withouth taking the car in with her. I looked for diagrams online with no luck. Let me know if anyone has the part number or even what you would call the black plastic cover.

Just take it to your local hard ware store or take it to the dealership yourself...then take one of the screws out and show it to the parts guy and I am sure they will have it in stock...

Are you talking about the oil change cover? I had my whole engine splash shield replaced (the plastic cover under my car) for 160 bucks. It was destroyed during the winter months when the ice would keep hitting that until it fell apart.

I also need this cover, is the dealer the only place to get this? Also $160 sounds too good at a dealer for this, guessing it was only for the part.

It's the screws for the engine splash shield. Anyone know what size screws are needed?

I had an autobody shop order the part and install it for me. The part I believe costed $130 and labor costed $30. Total costed $160. The autobody shop ordered the part from an Infiniti dealer. If you want to save money, buy the part from the dealer and have an autobody shop install it for you. Since this isn't a major work (they just need to unscrew the old one and screw the new one) it is much cheaper than getting it done at a dealer.

WOW really $160 I got an engine replacement cover on ebay for $30 shipped because I ripped it apart when trying to install my intakes. (very frustrating day) and all 4 or 6 screws aren't necessary. I have only two screwed in on the top and its sufficient. GL I guess i lucked out because all i can find are two and are way more than what I paid but here ya go: btw labor $30 equals screwing in 4-6 screws. haha really? Did i miss something?

that is not the engine splash shield. The splash shield goes on the bottom of the car...why on earth would anyone replace that part unless they got into an accident or like u said...ripping it apart for intakes. The engine splash shield is the part on the bottom of the car where the mechanic accesses it for an oil change to remove oil, and to install oil filters. If you read the thread carefully, the OP said "black plastic cover UNDER engine" not "black plastic cover OVER engine."

BTW the $30 included removing the bottom cover and throwing it away, and rescrewing the new cover back on. The dealer would have charged $100 just to do that. There are many more than 4 screws on the bottom shield, if you look under the car.

Ebay is selling third party brands for $118...

You can pick these screws up at any Infiniti or Nissan dealership, they are the same ones used on the 350z and 370z. I had 6 missing once from a stupid Nissan dealership changing my oil and not putting them back in, which made the cover flap like crazy on the freeway. The bolt are like $1.11 each..

Spddracer are the black PC versions for the 05-06 sedan (non AWD) back in stock? I checked your website a couple of weeks ago and they were listed out of stock.
