During rapid or hard acceleration, for example getting onto the freeway from an on ramp and applying the accelerator pedal there is a "clicking" or "ticking" noise, that gets faster as I apply the accelerator pedal more. Anyone experience this?

 

could it be the heater core TSB where there is audible tapping sound (like a screwdriver tapping metal) that increases with RPM's?
