I am thinking pretty seriously about buying and installing an Injen SP1997 cold air intake for my 07 G35 Sedan and am wondering if anyone has installed one already. If so, are there noticeable improvements? Any other recommendations will be appreciated as well.

You might want to ask your question in a different section seeing as this is for the first gen sedans 
The most power you will get from stock. All you get from Intakes is noise. The Note will be more pronounced. Each brand has there own noise or design but none make power.

IHybrid_DET. So you can feel increased power and low end torque by upgrading the intate? And what is R2C?

Yes, I can feel the difference. I have used a couple different intake options; JWT setup, loud, made some power up top, but lost low end torque. Stock intake w/ K&N filter & 05-06 rev up velocity stack, which had better low end response than JWT setup. With the r2c, I have the best of both worlds.

do you have the full r2c system with the square-ish tube? or just the end filter part

I have the entire intake setup. Granted the 07 sedan is a dual setup, you are still receiving the filters, which is the best part of the setup.

yeah I had to go back and do a double take on his first post. I just automatically went to 1st gen mindset with the single square tube. I've been looking for an intake and from what I've read and heard r2c is hard to beat, I just didn't know if it would be worth it to get the entire r2c set-up but since my intake now is completely stock mind as well do the whole thing. Just waiting for my mod funds to build up after buying my exhaust.

No rubbing issues. I did have to tweak the brackets that secure the intake tube to the manifold and the other bracket that secures heatshield to inside of fender. NO biggie, just had to be tweaked a couple degrees so everything lined up properly. Fits fine, no rubbing issues any where.
