Thoughts/Help on a few issues???

I bot an 07 G35s Sedan AT back in August. I have had several Nissans but this is my first Infiniti. There a re few things I have questions on and may need to take to my Dealer before the warranty runs out but I thoguht I would post to see if anyone had some input.

First off the traction control kicks in like its goign out of style. I don't hammer the gas all the time but it likes very litte for it to activate...I know the car has fair amount of tq and hp but it seems a little out of the ordinary. I had something happen to me the other day as well.

I was merging and from a stop, romped on it...as stated above TC kicked in I backed off as it seemed the tires were spinning slightly...I looked at the gauges just to see the tach bounce off the rev limiter and then the gear read '1'...I was not in manual mode...I semi- panicked since that didn't seem right and manually upshfited...I did smell something so it could have been my tires but there was no smoke...anyway, I have had no issues since but it concerned me since I did not put the car in manual...any thoughts?

Also, I recently put on Stoptech slotted rotors with Hawk HPS and now the brakes are loud...the harder I hit them, the more noise they make...kind of a moderately loud humming noise...

This is my first dealing with slotted rotors and have read that there is a whooshing sound but that is not what this is....any thoughts are appreciated...I may go back to stockers....Thanks in advance.
