I want my exhaust tone a bit deeper and louder on my sedan. The FI catback is out of my budget, and nothing else fits the x (don't like the stillen). I figured I would get HFC's, but don't want the rattles and hissing noises. If I replace the y-pipe and resonators as in this thread

with the magnaflow 11385, would the rasp and hissing noises of the HFC's be eliminated? I would also be keeping everything else stock, including the mufflers. Some people have done this but also added the magnaflow or tanabe mufflers. Has anybody done this with stock mufflers, or know how it would sound? Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, you have this x pipe along with the tanabe knockoff mufflers, correct? Anything else? Sounds pretty good.

Just 2.5 piping from the the cats all the way back. Car is stock other than that.
