Im trying to decide to do cats to x to mufflers or cats to x to stock resonators (I think there are stock resonators after the stock y) to mufflers. I dont want it to sound mellow.. I want it mean..
I have this setup that I bought from member bsowhat for $150. Sounds great.
It's cats to magnaflow resonators to magnaflow x to those mufflers you listed. It sounds great, and little drone around 65mph in 6th gear, esp when going uphill.

Mine is the same but no resonators.. so a bit louder.. I think im going to try to get some used berks before I install

Ordered some berk HFC last night so im going to wait for those to come until I do the rest of the exhaust stuff.. I will get it all done at the same time next week. Should be sick
I have an x
I finally got my car up on my friends lift to get the Cats in properly

Its amazing how far a lift goes.. it took an hour and 15 minutes where as doing it on ramps was a dead end lol.. we didn't even have to torch the bolts like I thought we would we used the impact gun with a few extensions and swivel connections. Everything went smoothly.. I have to get the other stuff welded in next week. Im not sure if im going to put the mufflers on yet.. I will see how it sounds with just the x-pipe on.. then go from there
While it was on the lift we took off all the heat shielding on the y-pipe and insulation.. to illuminate the rattle that people experience.
we used the berk graphite gaskets for the header to cat connection (there was no stock one) and we used the OEM one for the Cat to Exhaust
Rite now it rasps a bit on take off at 35k rpm but other than that no rattles. It has a bit more torque and power and sounds deep and nice.. cant wait for it to be louder!
