ART pipes + ARK catback
don't mean to thread jack, anyone have some sound clips of a g35 stock CBE with ART pipes and GTM RTP's so I can compare? I'd rather spend the 200 less on the GTM RTP's unless it the sound diff is night and day.

They have similar loudness but they sound quite different.
In relative terms:
HFC's have a dry ricy sound.
ART pipes have a much deeper warble like sound.
They are very different in tone.

I wanted to get RTP with my ARK but the wife said NO it's way to loud now!! She says she can hear me coming a block away. She doesn't want to be " one of those people." I might get them anyway lol

Lol My wife is at the point now where she is just like go ahead and get the damn thing already. I've been going back and forth about getting the GTM RTPs for a year but have also started considering the ART pipes. Only thing is are the ART pipes worth the extra $200+.
Mine says the same thing but she knows I'll do it anyways, lol I ordered some of the megan RTP's from a vendor here(Marinelli Motorsports) and they are on their way 
ART pipes are the best by far, but I can get over 4 sets of megan's RTPs for the price of one ART setup - so I'm going to give them a shot. From what I understand the the HR version is much better than their DE version 1 and 2s.

I think my Stillen CBE with the GTM RTP is definitely louder than just the ARK... lol
I think it was too loud for you on your ARK CBE because the ARK has an X pipe and the Stillen has a Y pipe. They say the X pipes give off a louder hiss/whistle and makes it louder and obnoxious when you add TP or HFC. It depends on how much air flow it gets and the size of the piping. (Read this somewhere on the370z)

If this added 100 whp i might consider keeping it. But for the 10 whp (maybe) it wasn't worth the headache and the looks from everyone when driving.

Omg somone who did this!!! I want to do gtm rtp on my atk because my hfc give it a rasp sound. Is there any rasp with that setup? Not talking about loud.. i dont care if its loud i care if its clean.. and i dobt want rasp
