New gaskets needed for Fast Intentions exhaust?

I just got a used Fast Intentions catback system today from another member on here. Before I install it, I am assuming I need new gaskets that go between the pipes. My question is, for those who have gotten a used exhaust or taken theirs apart and reassembled, do you need to replace them each time, and if you do, do I use OEM ones from the infiniti dealer or do I have to order special ones from Fast Intentions?

I'm also installing Megan RTP's at the same time that are new, those came with metal gaskets I believe.

If you're going from OEM to aftermarket then i would get new ones. You never know how your OEM gaskets would look like. You don't need to special order any; Berk, FI, GTM all use the same gaskets essentially. A run to Autozone or your local auto store is suffice

yeah I am coming from stock. Also meaning the gaskets between the the individual parts of the catback system - I got it disassembled and in the original box. I can use whatever I find at autozone?

well I struck out at autozone - they claim they don't have generic gaskets, and I couldn't even find any 3 bolt ones that matched the existing ones. The best they could do is sell my a sheet and make my down, but I don't really have a die cutter or anything like that. To top it off one of my bolts is broken - I think I just want to get fresh nuts and bolts for the whole thing. Waiting to FI to write back on either the specs or a way to buy a new hardware pack. Does anyone know where else i can find the right metal gaskets?

Edited. Sorry misread the OP and gave the wrong answer.

You could probably just call FI to purchase the cat back gaskets if you don't want to cut your own patterns, more expensive but simpler. Use the RTP gaskets that came with it. IMHO Better to go with new gaskets that way less chance of chasing noise problems later that could be a leaking flange. I don't have a cat back but I am assuming that the FI came with the soft graphite gaskets which get pretty much destroyed after removal (half on one flange and hlaf on the other flange.)

Actually they are metal ones. They don't appear to really be damaged very minor rust marks, so I guess I'll reuse them (Didn't realize it was that hard to replace them). The bolts look pretty simple, but one of them came broken so I need to find another. I emailed FI to see if they have a 'hardware pack' of the gaskets and bolts, so I can just install it fresh, but I haven't heard back. I guess I will call them.

Lol he responded today. He says only they sell the metal gaskets and they are 10 EACH for the 2 hole and 12 for the 3 hole. I'll he reusing mine and my Megan rtp came with 4 of them. I also picked up the missing bolts nuts and lock washers at Home depot to replace the missing/broken ones. So I think I have everything to get it installed!

Your plan sounds reasonable to me. Metal gaskets are pretty durable. The softer graphite ones are "one time use". Surface rust is nothing as long as they are not pitted. The OEM two hole gasket is a "multi-layer" stainless which I would have no issues reusing as long as the inner diameter was large enough for the cat back that is. the Berk retail gaskets are $10 and they are the soft graphite style so I guess $10-$12 for steel gaskets is fair.
Good luck.
