When my long block was replaced..did it get new spark plugs?

I am not sure. My long block was replaced 15K miles ago. I am getting HORRIBLE gas mileage now. Do they replace plugs when putting in long block or no? Car has 81K on it now and want to replace but don't know if they were replaced 15K miles ago with the long block

I would replace them either way.

More details would help tho. Stock engine? Mods? Other maintenance you've done? etc.

complete stock engine..only has 15K on it since they replaced the long block at 65K. Why i figured it would be getting better gas mileage...i do normal maintenance. synthetic oil. Just replaced air filters..trans fluid replaced 8k ago...diff fluid all set...i just want to know if the plugs have 81K on them..or 15K

no way to know for sure without pulling them and checking, 15K plugs will look much nicer than 81K mile plugs. Wouldn't hurt to change them either way, they're cheap... and VQ's aren't nice to spark plugs untuned.

^^ Ehh, actually it's not cheap to replace the plugs in the HR motors, at least not with an OEM quality plug. Older models were significantly less to do, but the newer ones make it worth while to get your moneys worth out of them. If I were the OP I would persue the paperwork to see if they listed any part numbers for the new plugs and/or ask all around where ever the work was done to see what the norm is. Certainly a newer plug will look good, but with plugs that last 105K, it's easier to mistake am early mid-life plug with a later mid-life plug than you might think.

spark plugs would have been listed in the parts detail on your reciept

not listed ? then not replaced. I would go ahead and replace them.
