Lightbulb Building a custom exhaust

I have a small project on building a custom exhaust for my g35x. Don't have the $1000+ to spend on a new exhaust system so I'm planning on swapping and welding on some parts and need some input. Currently on straight pipes. Thinking of cutting out the resonator and welding a Flowmaster X-pipe (part # 11386) and welding on some porche cayenne tips on or dual tips. And does anyone have experience with the megan test pipes (part#MR-SSDP-N7Z)
Looking for input on the set up.

Awesome man sounds like a plan. I don't have the megan test pipes but i have a buddy with them on a top speed exhaust and he absolutely loves it. Sounds great too. The flowmaster x pipe should cut out or at least minimize droning. A lot of people will probably tell you to not waste ur time and save up and spend $1500 on an exhaust which i think is stupid. Def keep us updated on ur progress.

I'm interested in hearing how this goes as well. Please post sound clips at different stages, if possible?

I built my exhaust using a megan oe rs muffler and custom mid pipe minus resonater. Sounds great! Alittle louder than stock but deeper tone. Total cost $450. Just have the shop copy the stock mid pipe bends.

Does the Topspeed exhaust fit the awd? The price point on it very good.
