2008 G35x - P0014 now P0011
I have a 2008 G35x. About a year ago, my car stalled at low RPM (driving through a parking lot). I took it to my mechanic, and I don't recall what exactly he did. I thought the problem was fixed, but a few months later, it stalled again. I took it back, and they cleaned the throttle bodies. That didn't seem to help, and the problem became progressively worse. There is rough idling and frequent stalling at low RPMs. My check engine light came on with code P0014. I replaced the Camshaft Position Sensor, started the car, and the light immediately went out. It seemed to be running better, but not even 24 hours later, the light came back on. I now have code P0011, which from what I understand, is the intake solenoid. Is it possible that the solenoid is also bad? Why wouldn't the P0011 code have been triggered with the P0014? I did pull out the solenoid, and it appears that it may have been replaced with an aftermaket version (I have a feeling this what my mechanic changed originally, but I have to look at the paperwork). I usually use OEM parts, so I don't know if that could be the issue. I appreciate any advice, suggestions, etc.
