I do find HID to glare more, and to be less effective in the rain, but i still prefer HID for its sharper cutoff (unless you have a really amazing reflector and I've seen halogen reflectors that rival HID projectors).

HID does have more glare due to more output.
Projectors with 4300-5000k good brand HID will give you the most light output without bothering other drivers.
When I went from the stock HID's to S2000 projectors it was a big jump in output. I was able to go with Philips 6000k bulbs for a little more color and still have more output than the stock 4300k. Plus it was nice to not get flashed anymore. Seems like no matter how I aimed my lights before I was flashed at least every other day.
You 07 guys are lucky to get some decent projectors from the factory.
