Well, I drive quite a bit at night, I think next to tires and brakes, lights are one of the more important safety features of a car IMO.

As for the possible brand changing, not because of the lights, because of the customer service. I don't like feeling like I'm causing a problem at the dealership everytime I have an issue. I used to work for scottsdale Lexus for a few years, very happy with how they deal with customers.

Thumbs down

Not that I know of. The cut off point on the headlights is only about 50ft, and it's cockeyed.

I don't notice any difference in light illumination height/area after dropping it.

First time I've ever heard of anyone wanting to switch brands because of headlight adjustments, though...

Shouldn't there be some kind of 'zero' start adjustment? If you replace the lights, I can't imagine that they bolt right in and are perfectly aligned.

It wasn't really bad before, kinda overlapping, but you can see it when the lights swing back and forth. the distance the lights work was quite a big difference before and after the drop, it's just a pain, I drive around with my brights on most of the time now, until I can get it fixed.

If my memory serves me correct, you can take your car to any state inspection site that might charge (I believe) $50 to align your lights. I don't know where you live, but I took mine to a place state inspection place in Towson, MD that was able to do this for me. Just a thought.

I'm not talking about the beam pattern, I'm talking about, removing airboxes, adjusting this,..... etc.
