Nope, no changes, just buy a pair of D2S "bulbs" and install em where the old ones were.

kelvin or "K" relates to color temp.. applies strictly to bulbs.. you should NEVER change out your factory ballast because factory ballasts are the best ones you can probably ever get..

Stocks are also 4300k, rather than 4700k. Also, when installing the HIDs, make sure you put them in properly; i believe the color stip faces down.

Make sure you do not touch the bulbs with your fingers. I doesn't like water, sweat, or salt. Will reduce bulb's life.

Yup, you sure can, but its illegal, get one of those conversion kits that replace the 9006 bulb with an HID bulb that plugs into a ballast and everything that comes in the kit is right there.. but HID fogs kind of defeats the purpose of fogs, the light will just refract the particles and blind you

I want Range Rover HID's.

Those are the best looking HID's IMO.

Pure white FTW.

I replaced my fogs with HIDs... haven't found a single state where putting HIDs in the fogs is illegal, but maybe I didn't look hard enough. Linkage?

Just FYI -- but do realize that the light output of 8k is significantly lower than the stock. So it could impact night-time visibility.

Philips 6000k FTW.

You will loose a little (not much) output over the stock 4300k but the color gains are nice!
