Rear-view Cam Disable
Rear-view Cam Disable
Is there anyway I could disable the rear-view camera? I might use the G for my driving test and I can't use the cam. for parking - go figure
. Any help, besides from putting masking tape over the lens, would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can cover up the monitor.

^ LOL...must be nice huh.
Like the other guys said, turn the screen off or just over it. OR dont look at the screen when you're parking. Believe me, the instructor is going to be watching where you look. So as long as you look outside of the car and not inside at the screen, you should be ok.

Thanks, I'll try going for turning the monitor off. Well I'm not sure how licensing works in USA, but I have my G1 right now - I could drive only if the person in my passenger seat has his/her full license for 4 yrs.+. I'm going for my G2, which is I could drive by myself. After my G2 I go for my G (full license) which is after a few of years.

if you cant turn off the monitor you can always disconnect the camera itself. remove a few screws from the chrome piece and you'll see the plug.
