My G35 is 3 weeks old and today on the highway my windshield took a hit from what must have been a rock. I now have a circle crack about 2 inches across. I wonder if the Infiniti dealer is the place to have this replaced or a glass shop ? My dealer is closed for the holiday so I can't get to talk to them for a few days. Anyone had this experience ?

 

talk to one of those windshield repair shops. Im sure they can get rid of a 2 inch crack. I think if its over 6 inches, they wont do it.

 

Yep, just had my 2 mth old windshield replaced by All Star Glass here in San Diego. A truck in front of me kicked up a rock on the way to work. They located an OEM windshield in LA and had it on within a few days. They also could of got one from the non oem manufacturers, but since they found an oem piece I opted for that. Apparently there are only a few companies that make all the windshields (PPE and another one I don't remember) and supply them to the car companies. Total cost was about $950 and I paid the $500 deductible.
