Any word yet on an exhaust or exhaust mod that would make our cars sound like the first gen coupe?

Stillen exhaust or maybe taking off the resonator. I'm not sure how taking off the resonator would sound though.

I love the coupe/350z/fx exhausts as well.

Stillen exhaust for '07 tries to keep the note quiet. I think after hearing my car, and hearing the coupe, the coupe sounds cheap.

Has anyone tried to mount up a G37 exhaust to a G35? I'm wondering if the mufflers are identical...it it was a matter of changing something minor I would be down to get the coupe sound. I miss my '06 coupe and FX sound.

Jason can we bother you to take a photo of the G37 exhaust and the G35 Exhaust

OR maybe could you check the parts manual to see what parts are different. Since the aftermarket exhaust doesn't add much HP, maybe it is worth modifying exhaust to duplicate the coupe sound.

Or even the 07/08 Sedan to the '07 Coupe. The exhaust note on the coupe is wonderful, I would love to have it in my '08.

I need to get a sound byte of my exhaust- its a custom MagnaFlow set up and I everyone who hears my car says it sounds just like the coupe

Totally different exhaust exhaust layout on the V36 Sedan from the CV36 Coupe or CV35 Coupe...

Would have to get rid of the rear underbody diffuser thats between the Sedan mufflers... I havent looked above it to see if there is anything there that would have to be re-located, but it may very well just bolt up...

I have a coupe exhaust here if someone would like to try...

Ah bummer. I've been looking around for a picture of the G37's stock exhaust.

I found the below (stock 07 + G35 on the left) and (Stillen on the right). Now we just need a picture of the G37 to see what changes there are.

Jason, is the G37's muffler the same part number as the G35's (sedan 07 +)?

Blitz nur spec DT is the best sounding one i have heard so far. very coupe like.

there are videos of it on youtube. one is either to close to the camera or he has test pipes(its pretty loud)

and another is much quieter, sounds just like the coupe.

i forgot what the 1st gen coupe exhaust sounds like lol
