It's really easy.

You need to undo the screw that's holding the filter box to the tube. Disconnect the tube from the box and just pull straight up with a good amount of force.

And you're done.

You missed a screw - the one that is attached to the engine compartment bracket.

Easy 4 step for removing the box.

1. Remove the screw that attaches the actual air box.

2. Remove the MAF sensor.

3. Unscrew the bracket on the tube-throttle body.

4. Remove the hose next to the throttle body.

uh... 5. Remove the entire OEM intake assembly.

When you take out the box, you'll have to use a bit of force to lift it. It might feel like there is another screw that's holding the box, but there are none. Just pull it straight UP and it should just slide off. Oh, and of course, above steps applies on both sides.

GOOD LUCK!

Yea, I don't think it is necessary to remove MAF. I had to move the air intake boxes in order to replace the amber turn signal bulb with the PIAA mirror orange bulb.

The whole OEM intake assembly?

That's not necessary!
