Fujita Heat Sheilds Coming Out Soon!!

I got this from my350z.com

Got a email from fujita this morning they said a heat sheild will be coming out soon, no price yet. I did go on car domain and found one, part # injhs3500 made by injen at only $23 ea.that might work

so basically the fujita kit will cost around $350 where as the stillen is $400 and carb legal iirc...

I could see them being beneficial if they seal against the hood like the JWT system. This will trap air creating the very slight ram effect the oem system had, as well as protect it from heat and keep it full of cool outside air.

if they look good, i might get em....

if you are serious about getting cool air, you would need some type of insulated material on the inside of the shield

then to further protect it from heat, wrap the intakes with some exhaust wrap.

finally, bypass the throttle bodies coolant supply and you will have almost perfectly unheated ambient air. lol

I wrote them and their response was that they were not yet available but would be in the future.
They offered me no ETA.

Anyone have specs from an oil analysis after having one of these short ram intakes on for a while.

I'm still on the fence.
I'm hearing that these filters are never going to protect as well as the stock filters and boxes.

Thoughts on that?
