Possible Tie Rod problem?

Ok, I will start off by saying I have a 2007 G35S dropped on Eibach's, and I live in the greater(sized potholes and bumps) New York Metro area.

I was driving to work yesterday and I was driving on a smooth road, and all of a sudden I hear either a snap or something that sounded like an electrical spark in the steering wheel and it shifts to the left, and now I am driving straight while the wheel is still slightly turned. I only have 5000 miles on my car and I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge on the subject.

I was explaining it to my friend and he said its exactly was his friend was describing to him when his tie rods broke on his 05 maxima.

Since it's new, your dealer should take care of it without charge. Head over to dealer asap!

Ouch. Thats not exactly the easiest thing to do. The rears take 15 mins, while the fronts can take 2 hours if you have a small air compressor and spring compressor. This will be an even more pain in the *** if you have already aligned your car under the new springs. The dealer will without a doubt blame your altered suspension, and will not fix that problem under warranty.
