HELP winter on way need quick advice

I was just about to order a brand new set up of tires and rims for winter purposes. But I have some snow tires i used for only last season on my 03 g35. The wheels are 205/55/17(i think, they are in storage, but i know they are 205) The question is, what size rim will fit an 07g35s. 7.5 inch width? or nothing at all? Just trying to save some money since the tires only got less than 1500 miles on them last winter. Thank you

These are what I have on my G35S 6MT right now. The overall diameter is a little small but I keep higher than normal air pressure.

16" are likely too small. 17" clears the calipers with less than an inch to spare.

You'll probably be needing a new setup. While you're at it, upgrade to 225/55/17 size. It'll be a little more stable on dry.

Otherwise, MOST 17" rims will clear the calipers, but to be safe, either go to a local shop to buy them, or order from somewhere that guarantees fitment (like tirerack.com).

Thanks..... any idea if the stocker 17" rims from the Gen 1 G sedan will fit? I have a set of Gen 1 rims sitting in the garage that were custom powder coated that I could use.

I suppose I can pull a front wheel and mount up a 16" and 17" to see if they clear.

I have the stock 04 G35 6MT rims on my 07 G35S 6MT with the 225/55/17 Dunlop WinterSport. They do fit and have been using them for 3 weeks (MI). Keep in mind that I have only about 1/4" gap between the front caliper and the inside of the wheel. Forget the 16", they will not clear the calipers.
