help with headlight light fuse

help with headlight light fuse

hey everyone, i was looking through the owners manual looking for where the fuses are, but the only one i could find was the interior fuses. Does anyone know where the headlight fuses are enclosed. thanks everyone !!!!!

As per the service manual...

Unit Location Fuse No. Capacity

Headlamp HI (LH) IPDM E/R #54 10 A
Headlamp HI (RH) IPDM E/R #55 10 A
Headlamp LO (LH) IPDM E/R #56 15 A
Headlamp LO (RH) IPDM E/R #57 15 A
Front fog lamp IPDM E/R #58 15 A

Parking lamp (also used as the front side marker lamp) IPDM E/R #52 10 A

• Tail lamp
• Rear side marker lamp
• License plate lamp
• Each illumination

IPDM E/R #53 10 A

Stop lamp FUSE BLOCK (J/B) #7 10 A
Back-up lamp FUSE BLOCK (J/B) #4 10 A

Err... the IPDM is the "intelligent power distribution module", btw. It's the box under the hood next to the battery.

thanks man, i couldnt find any of this in my manual

checked that one, but the owners manual did not label the head lights

Not the fuse box next to the battery... the IPDM. It's the other box next to the battery.

If you need a better illustration, check the exterior lighting section of the FSM. Page 64 shows the fuses for the headlamps and page 153 has a good diagram of the IPDM itself.

ohh nice nice,thanks viguera. i thought there would be another box with more than just interior lights.

No problem... I gotta get in there myself in a few days actually. My driver-side high beam is not working, and I think it's either the actuator arm, the shade itself or the fuse. Seeing how the fuse is relatively easier to check than anything else, I'll look and see.

If it's the arm or the shade then it's going to the dealer.
