headlights and front gril

hey peeps i went to a body shop today they said if i took out my headlight and my grill, they said they can paint it black for me. can anyone walk me through and tell me how i can take off the housing of the headlights and, the grill? is it a separate peace inside the headlight or is it all one piece?

ps. i think black looks sweet on ip =P

You need to remove the bumper to take out the grille, and while you're at it, you can take out the headlights too.

I'd say leave the car there and let them do it... they're gonna have to put everything back together so you might as well. And if they say they don't know how to do it, then don't let them touch your car.

There are quite a few people here that have had their headlights worked on, and several posts on dropping the bumper. Search is your friend.

^ na, the grill comes off after taking of like 6 pins, no need to remove the bumper.

No problem, I get tripped up by the RSS feed all the time and end up reading stuff in the G- Coupe sections.
