Do yourself a favor and buy one of the power cords that replaces the cord that came from your radar detector.

I purchased mine from www.stealthcords.com/shop. Highly recommended!

Shipped quick and VERY easy to install.

Honestly, I don't know how I lasted with that coiled cord stretching across my dash for so many years.

I think I'm going to get one of those mounts next...that is pretty slick.

product info

I actually have both the country joy crafts and the mike's mount in two different cars. Mikes is plastic while the other is metal. Both are strong enough so it's just your own aesthetics that will determine the "better value"

Regarding the hardwire, there is also invisicord. I bought one and then made my own for the second car. Works great and is much more desirable than running wire down to CLA or fusebox.

I have a V1 and went with the invisicord. It works great, no regrets. Just my .02

I'm interested in the mirror mount from countryjoycrafts.com. Anyone know which size will fit a G coupe with homelink mirror? 3/4" or 23mm??

The mount (V1 Plain) "will fit most cars with a 3/4 inch diameter or .9inch / 23mm stem that is at least 5/8inches long." This is what I would get (also buying one for my '07 sedan).

The 3/4 inch and the .9/23mm are two differnt size mounts. Which one is correct?
